Art and the Written Word Come Together Husband and Wife Creative Team Showing at Eagle Gallery Open House: January 10, 2012 4-7pm
Artist Kevin McCain and writer Donna Cook team up for a unique joint gallery opening at The Gallery at Finer Frames in Eagle, Idaho. This one month exhibition features Impressionist paintings of the Northwest landscape by Kevin McCain, who also created the cover illustration for wife Donna Cook's debut novel, Gift of the Phoenix.
Meet the creative pair at the opening, January 10, from 4-7 pm. The author will be signing copies of her book, which was recently nominated for the Whitney Award. The original cover illustration (which deceptively appears unfinished) will be on display. The artist will be available to answer questions about his process creating the illustration, as well as questions about his fine art paintings making their debut at this one-man show.
Skip down to downtown Eagle to enjoy this one-of-a-kind exhibition opening.
