The Golden Rule |
Trina writes, "I often hear from clients that their clean eating and workout plans are often sabotaged by their loved ones. Think about it - you are starting a workout plan or you have decided not to have that extra glass of wine or dessert when dining out - and your friends are the first ones to give you a hard time; they coerce you and may often win."

The golden rule to building a better support system: “Everyone you invite into your life should make you better.”
The people who surround you - your support system - will determine how well you will build and maintain the self-confidence necessary for success. Why? They are the ones that are feeding your mind on a regular basis.
Research has shown that exercisers with some kind of support system have a better chance of continuing and being successful. Having a group of like-minded people to work out with can also make you more accountable and make the workouts more fun. Choose small or large group programs. The shared goal of improved fitness and regular contact through the workouts can create a support network in a short time.
Everyone you invite into your life should make you better. Hang only with people for whom your success is their success. The people around you must support your quest to be great...or be gone!
