Quick and Easy Way to Tone Your Arms |
Trina writes, "Want to tone up and strengthen your arms? Don't have a gym membership? No problem! After I had Violet I quit going to my gym and started working out right in my own living room. Add a mixture of high intensity aerobic activity to burn off the fat and resistance training to build the lean muscle."

Try performing a push-up. Place your hands just outside your shoulders, start with knees and toes on the ground (as you get stronger you can progress to a full military style push-up). Do as many as you can unbroken; rest for 3 seconds; and repeat the cycle. You can repeat this cycle 8 times, though be sure to track the number of push-ups you did each round. You can repeat this exercise rep scheme about every third day and watch your upper body tone up nicely.
Consistently doing the aerobic activity such as jump rope, biking, fast walking, and jogging combined with a high quality nutrition program and resistance training you will find that your arms get more toned than just doing the resistance training alone.
Monitor your progress by keeping track of your measurements and writing down your workouts. Also make sure to learn the proper technique for each exercise - then celebrate your success!
Be sure to check back with my next blog series when I talk about toning up your glutes.
