November Updates: Moving Locations, Weather Changes, Theft Prevention
writes, "November is the start to some great times ahead...everything SNOW related! All of us at the Eagle Police Station are very grateful to work within the Eagle Community. Thank you for your confidence and trust in us, we are here for you."
This month we are actively preparing for our move to the Eagle Public Safety building. We feel very good about joining locations with the Fire Department; it will save city resources, provide much needed space, and make access easier for the community. With increased staff and a shared location there will always be someone to meet your needs should you need assistance.

November's cooler weather and additional moisture may cause potential driving hazards. Visibility will be lowered with the fog, and icy road conditions will become a concern in our morning commute to work and school. Please give yourself extra time to make your drive and be aware of vehicles and pedestrians around you. And remember to keep your windshield clear of frost and ice.

Additionally, sunrise is later in the morning now and that early morning sun can be blinding! Consider wearing sunglasses on your morning commute to help eliminate the glare. Deer are on the move this time of year. We've already had one accident involving a deer on Highway 44 and Ballantyne.

Lock your things up securely; crime may increase this month as the holidays approach. Meanwhile, we are out there looking out for you.

Dana Borgquist
Eagle Chief of Police
