The ABC's of a Healthy Family
writes, "Here are tips for keeping your family healthy from A to Z!"
Attitude matters. Teach your kids to value their health.
Be a good example. Your kids are watching you!
Cook together as a family!
Date night for mom & dad.
Eat your veggies! At least 5 servings a day.
Fish oil for a healthy brain.
Grow your own foods.
Have fun & find pleasurable activities to do every day.
It's just as important to teach your kids how to eat, as it is what to eat.
Junk foods = junk moods!
Know that quality matters - always choose the highest quality possible.
Love your body and all that it does for you!
Make family mealtime happen as often as possible.
Never ask kids to try new foods. Give them samples instead.
Offer choices, but make them both healthy options.
Pack healthy snacks to go!
Quench your thirst with water.
Reduce the amount of sugar in your diet.
Say I love you every day.
Teach your kids how to read food labels.
Unplug one day a week & get moving!
Value quality time together.
Whole foods in place of processed foods.
eXpect that it may not be easy, but it will be worth it!
You can create change in your family.
Zzzz's - get plenty of sleep each night!
