Tiny Stamped Notecards |
catie writes, "I love finding new uses for everyday items. Use a standard pencil eraser to transform basic index cards into mini notecards."
|
Materials:
Blank 3 x 5 index cards {the kind with no lines}
Pencil {with a brand-new eraser}
Stamp pad {the more colors the better}
Plain paper
Pretty sticker or tape
1) Fold
Just fold an index card in half {the fat way, or "hamburger" style}. See? It's almost a card already! Now, let's make it pretty...
2) Stamp
Using a crisp, new pencil eraser and your stamp pad, make your own polka-dot patterns on the front of your tiny card.
3) Sign
Keep it short & sweet, because your card is, well, short & sweet.
4) Add An Envelope
Cut a plain piece of paper down to 6 inches x 7 inches. Lay your card in the center. Fold the sides in, to fit the sides of your card. Fold the top and bottom edges into points, then fold the points to the center to meet in the middle. Use a sticker or a piece of tape to hold it closed.

More Ideas:
~The minimum size to send through the mail is 3 1/2 x 5, so just pop one inside of a larger envelope before sticking on a stamp.
~These tiny cards are the perfect size to tuck inside a lunchbox & make someone's day - no stamp needed.
~You can use these mini cards on the top of a present ~ just punch a hole in one corner and tie on with ribbon.
