Mini Pumpkin People
writes, "With their long-stem noses, these tiny pumpkins have big personalities - no carving necessary!"

Materials:
Small decorative pumpkins {with stems attached}
Push pin or thumbtack
Short wood screws
Screwdriver
Hole reinforcers
Pipe cleaners
Scissors
Felt
Straight pins {sewing pins}
Colored feathers
Glue

1) Make the Eyes
Using the thumbtack, make two holes in the pumpkin where you want the eyes to be. Place hole reinforcer stickers right over the holes. With the holes as guides, carefully use a screwdriver to twist the screw "eyes" into place.

2) Make the Mouth
Use scissors to cut a piece of pipe cleaner just slightly longer than you want your pumpkin's mouth to be. Use your thumbtack to make two holes in the pumpkin where you want the mouth to begin and end. Bend the ends of your pipe cleaner to poke into the holes, then shape it to lay flat across the face.

3) Make the Hair
Cut long strips of felt roughly 1/2 inch wide. Shape the felt strips into loops and secure with straight pins.

4) Add the Extras
Give your pumpkin a feather in her hair or a feather mustache. Secure with a bit of glue. Cut out a felt "collar" for your pumpkin to sit on - no need to attach it, just use it like a pumpkin coaster.
